What is STEAM?
STEAM stands For Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math. Most people are aware of the term STEM which is the same term without the A. STEAM is a newer concept showing art is just as important as the other sections of STEM.
According to Institute for Arts Integration and STEAM, "STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
My Name is Juhi Pandya
My Name is Juhi Pandya. I am currently a freshman at the Savannah College of Art and Design and I am a proud Girl Scout accomplishing my Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouts. I realized that I didn’t exactly know the importance of STEAM until my freshman year of high school. That is when I joined my robotics team, Team 1676 the Pascack Pi-oneers, who taught me all about STEAM! With this website, I hope to inspire you all to discover the world of STEAM!
